“God Created Only Two Genders”: Rep. Greene VS Rep. Newman

On Wednesday, a biology war took place in the House Office Building hallway between the two freshman Congresswomen Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R- GA) and Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL). The feud sparked after Rep. Greene voted against the so-called “Equality Act,” a bill that will inevitably transform women into second-class citizens by allowing biological males to compete in female sports and trump on religious freedom.

Rep. Newman decided to upload a childish video of herself placing a transgender flag outside her office that is directly across from Rep. Greene’s. In response, Rep. Greene also made a mockery video of herself sticking a placard outside her office that read “There are two genders: Male and Female. Trust the science.”

In her video, Rep. Newman wrote, “Our neighbor, Rep. Greene, tried to block the Equality Act because she believes prohibiting discrimination against trans Americans is ‘disgusting, immoral, and evil.’ Thought we’d put up our Transgender flag so she can look at it every time she opens her door,” and ended her statement with a wink and transgender flag emoji.

“Our neighbor, Rep. Newman, wants to pass the so-called “Equality” Act to destroy women’s rights and religious freedoms. Thought we’d put up ours so she can look at it every time she opens her door,” Rep. Greene wrote in her replay and also ended with a wink and USA flag emoji.

Rep. Greene also added an additional tweet where she strongly stated, “God created ONLY TWO genders.”

This was not the first time the two freshman House Representatives got into a disagreement. Earlier, Congresswoman Newman made an emotional statement attempting to convince the House to pass the “Equality Act” in the name of his “daughter.” Rep. Greene then responded with a blunt fact rebutting the emotional statement by reply “your biological son does NOT belong in my daughters’ bathroom, locker rooms, and sports teams.”

Rep. Greene has been extensively vocal against the “Equality ACT” for some time. This Thursday, Greene will deliver a press conference to explain how Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “Equality Act” is “an attempt to upend social norms and railroad the rights of private businesses, religious organizations, and citizens by imposing federal mandates.”
