For the past week, Republican House Rep. Steve Scalise has become extremely vocal on his pro-life support. One important matter that concerns at least 70% of Americans is legalizing something so anti-human as infanticide. This Tuesday April 2nd, Rep. Steve Scalise is proposing to file a discharge petition that will force Speaker Nancy Pelosi to allow the House to vote on the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act” bill that will protects Abortion Survivors instead of leaving the child to die once its been born (infanticide).
Republican House Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) was the architect of the bill to protect the vulnerable children who can not defend themselves. After 19 times that House Republicans attempted to pass the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act,” those 19 times the bill was rejected by Democrats. This time, 3 Democrat House Representatives have join to co-sponsor the anti-infanticide bill: Rep. Henry Cuellar [D-TX-28], Rep. Daniel Lipinski [D-IL-3], and Rep. Collin C. Peterson [D-MN-7].
