On Sunday, Attorney General Bill Barr released a four-page summary on the concluded and closed investigation into the Trump campaign allegedly colluding with the Russians to rig the 2016 presidential elections. The President was exonerated from any wrongdoing and colluding with any foreign countries to undermine the United States democracy. “The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” stated the Attorney General in is letter.
A number of agents and procedures were required:
- 19 Lawyers
- 40 FBI Agents
- 2,800 Subpoenas
- 500 Search Warrants
- 230 Orders for communication records
- 50 Authorized requests
- 13 requests of foreign governments for evidence
- 500 witnesses
