
It was known this Thursday about the Democrats’ decision to boycott the annual event of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) this year. After the continuous attacks from the Democrat Minnesota House Rep. Ilhan Omar towards Israel and AIPAC, it is evident who makes the decisions in the Democratic Party. It was because of Omar’s comments that Senate Republicans signed the B.D.S bill that passed with 77 to 23 to prohibit Americans from boycotting Israel, a bill that majority of American see as unconstitutional as it violets our first amendment rights.
At least eight of the sixteen Democrat 2020 candidates have publicly announced they will be absent at the AIPAC event this March 24th-26th. Democrat 2020 candidates who are officially boycotting AIPAC: Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Kirsten Gillibrand.
On Friday morning, when asked by reporters on the President’s opinion regarding the matter, President Trump responded, “The Democrats have very much proven to be anti-Israel, there’s no question about that, and it’s a disgrace,” the then added, “I mean I don’t know what’s happen to them, but they are totally anti-Israel, frankly I think they’re anti-Jewish.”
